This may have said more to me if I had a Game and Watch back in the day, so Im not likely to be the sort to get the retro vibe out of this, but I still appreciate the effort and style! Well done!

Lacking Polish

Okay...... given that you knew this was incomplete to begin with why did you feel the need to submit it to the internets as is, was it a course requirement? If so I can understand that, however as it is its terrible choppy and the animation is anything but smooth, plus the illustrations are lazy at best.

I appreciate the concept and this could have been a charming nod to the old rabbit and the Hare Fairy Tale but its just not.....

Try a little harder next time, I can see promise in this....

yes, this was a school assignment. first of all, it wasn't for a flash class. it was a general animation class, so I could have done it by hand, or with after effects, or maya, or whatever. the class was about the process of producing a film, not making a film, so our final project only had to be 30% animated, and it's due this morning. That's why this is so rough. So considering the assignment, I overachieved a bit. He said it really had to look more like an animated animatic. Also... I may end up working on this later and just reuploading, but for the time being I think I'll take a break from it. I have all of my other finals stuff to worry about too.
